VideoArchitecture.com Facilities + People
Cost effective capture of Facilities Architecture typically involves a combination of video and still photography. A Healthcare shoot may have a video dolly shot in a Public Access area but still High Dynamic Range images of Patient Rooms.
For 5 years I have devoted my free time to creating video techniques for capturing Architecture & Interior Design projects. Quality shooting techniques that travel well are the basis of my work.
While video production tends to be a team sport, my goal is to create as small a team as possible. Not always easy but often times necessary for many B2B Productions.

Jaunt, Z Cam, Nokia, GoPro are just some of the many choices for 360 Motion VR capture.
My work with Virtual Realty started 15 years ago at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and has evolved into the new exciting field of 360 video. Adding motion to video with rovers and drones adds another dimension to my storytelling.
The 360 VR video industry is being guided largely by Google, Facebook and Microsoft. VR video projects for my Clients end up on YouTube and business Facebook pages more often than not. Mobile delivery of VR content is a phenomena that will continue to grow exponentially in coming years. The VR video revolution has just begun.

My first large Client was Ringling Brothers Barnum Bailey & Disney on Ice. For the better part of 8 years I photographed Executives, Circus Folk and talented skating Mickeys.
Today my early Portrait Photo work has progressed into Video Portraits Successful video projects rarely just happen. They do take some planning, often times lots. The real key here is how much actual footage is needed for the Production. How long does someone need to be on camera? How many Cameras?

The era of the Robot has arrived. While flying cameras have become part of our business culture the newbies on the block are sUGV. While the more mundane ground based drones will deliver food and packages many of us in the production community are building and programming rovers to move the cameras.
The sUGV can perform dolly camera moves or very simple slider movements. They can run on tracks or wheels and are easy to build. A few years ago there were no companies involved in building rovers today the market has exploded.

While I pursue work in many areas, my main hubs are Washington DC and Scottsdale AZ. Twenty years ago I split my business in two and moved to Arizona. In 2009 I purchased a Horse Property and converted a portion of the Stables to my current work area in Arizona. My base in Washington for 20 years has been Glover Park between American University and Georgetown University in NorthWest DC.
With the assistance of many talented people I create still and moving imagery of Facilities and People. Some of my Production shoots are more involved and require a larger crew. Many can be done with just a few folks. Almost all involve still and video capture. Video cameras that shoot still images and still cameras that shoot amazing video footage epitomize the visual marketplace of today. I am blessed with the skills and opportunity to create both.
